TIPS FOR FUORI SALONE 2022

From June 6 to 12, the most anticipated week on Milanese soil returns: FUORI SALONE.

This edition is full of innovation and enthusiasm after the two difficult years brought about by COVID-19.

We have selected some areas of Milan for a total of 12 unmissable events for this edition.

TORTONA DISTRICT:

Superstudio presents Looking Ahead: A pop-up village where you can wander around and see installations.

Tortona Rocks dedicates this edition to Materia. The installation of IQOS, featuring a public art intervention, is particularly interesting.

Tortona Design Week presents Fluidity and Design, a program composed of installations, exhibitions and events, to name just a few: Completing the fragments of nature at the Rotonda di via Bergognone, Timberland’s Floating Forest and the IKEA Festival, The radical pop terrace curated by TOILETPAPER magazine.

We Will Design arrives at its second edition at BASE: a meeting point for global designers and international students in one workshop.

 

BRERA DISTRICT:

More than 160 events with installations, exhibitions and presentations at Brera Design Week with the theme “designing the present, choosing the future.”

Design Variations lands at Circolo Filologico Milanese and Palazzo Visconti.

CADORNA DISTRICT:

Triennale Milano brings together permanent installations, such as the Museum of Italian Design and the Casa Lana by Ettore Sottsass, and a series of exhibitions and events put on for Milan Design Week.

DUOMO DISTRICT:

5VIE Design Week presents its ninth edition by experiencing the city as a laboratory where possible utopias are prototyped.

 

ISOLA DISTRICT:

Together As One is the topic selected by Isola Design Festival where local galleries and international designers meet.

OUTSIDE THE CITY:

Alcova lands again in Inganni at the former military hospital in Baggio.

New for 2022 is the Certosa Initiative, an exhibition project in which emerging talents and industry brands meet in a former industrial space.

Baranzate Ateliers proposes a sensory journey at the former Necchi factory.
